WRAS butterfly valves can be less expensive to purchase and are easier to maintain, thereby resulting in lower maintenance costs. WRAS butterfly valves are fast-acting, being quarter-turn valves, which can open and close in less time than some other valve designs. WRAS butterfly valves generate small pressure drops. With suitable seats, WRAS butterfly valves can be used with chemicals and corrosive media. WRAS butterfly valves are narrow and take up less space in an installed setting, which are easy to install, save time and installation costs.
